MIDDLEBURG, Va., Dec. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Middleburg Financial Corporation (the "Company") , announced today that at the regular December meeting of its Board of Directors, the Company elected to defer its Quarterly Dividend determinations until the month after each quarter, beginning with its regular meeting scheduled in January 2009. This change brings the timing for dividend declaration, record and payment date determinations in line with the Company's peer group, who make these decisions following the close of each quarter.
