Wainwright Bank Announces New President & CEO of Heritage Capital Management

BOSTON, Jan. 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Jan A. Miller, President and Chief Executive Officer of Wainwright Bank & Trust Company announced today that Jeffrey E. Anthony has joined Heritage Capital Management, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Wainwright Bank, as President and Chief Executive Officer.

"We are excited to welcome Jeff Anthony who brings with him over 35 years of diverse investment experience, most recently with Atlantic Trust Company where he served as a Managing Director and Senior Relationship Manager. His leadership will strengthen and grow Heritage with a focus on strategic planning, business development, marketing and general operations," said Miller.

Previously, Anthony served as a General Partner and Managing Director of Haldor Investment Advisors and as a Vice President and Boston Regional Manager with SNC Investment Counseling, the high net worth investment management division of Shawmut National Bank.

Prior experience includes 16 years with Old Stone Bank, including Senior Vice President in the Money Market Group, and Vice President and Trust Officer in the Trust Department. Jeff is currently a member of the Boston Economic Club, the Boston Estate Planning Council, the Boston Society of Financial Analysts and the CFA Institute. He received a BA from Wittenberg University and attended the National Trust School at Northwestern University.

George Rooks, Founder and President of Heritage for over 25 years, is now Chairman and will continue to actively manage portfolios and client relationships.
