AnalogicTech Appoints David Schwartz as Vice President of Worldwide Sales

SANTA CLARA, Calif., Jan. 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Advanced Analogic Technologies, Inc. ("AnalogicTech" or the "Company") , a developer of total power management semiconductors for consumer electronic devices, today announced that David Schwartz has joined the Company as its Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Effective Monday, February 2, 2009, Mr. Schwartz will manage worldwide sales and report to the President, CEO and CTO of AnalogicTech, Richard K. Williams.

Mr. Schwartz brings a wealth of sales experience gained from his tenures at a number of semiconductor companies. Prior to joining AnalogicTech, Mr. Schwartz was the Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing at Oxford Semiconductor. While at Renesas Technology Americas, Mr. Schwartz served as the Chief Operating Officer. During his tenure at Mitsubishi Electronics Americas, Mr. Schwartz held several positions, including Vice President and General Manager of the company's Sales and System-on-a-Chip Divisions. Prior to that, Mr. Schwartz held a variety of sales positions at Motorola Semiconductor during his eleven-year career with the company. Mr. Schwartz earned a Masters of Business Administration at Dickenson University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering at the Pratt Institute.
