The distributions payable on January 15, 2009 to shareholders of record on December 31, 2008, as previously announced on December 15, 2008, are considered 2009 distributions for federal income tax purposes.
The company did not incur any foreign taxes during 2008. In addition, only for purposes of calculating alternative minimum taxable income under Section 55 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, the company apportions $0.0009 per common share and Series A preferred share attributable to depreciation, each assuming a full year of ownership.
