IBERIABANK Corporation Enters Alabama

MOBILE, Ala., Feb. 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- IBERIABANK Corporation, parent company to the 121-year-old bank subsidiary IBERIABANK (http://www.iberiabank.com/), is pleased to announce the naming of Lawrence "Russ" G. Ford, Jr. as Executive Vice President and President of the Mobile, Alabama region.

Ford joins the Company with 15 years of banking experience. In 1995, he joined AmSouth Bank's Management Associate Program where he specialized in commercial and industrial banking. He served as a credit analyst for AmSouth Bank in Pensacola, Florida, and later relocated to Panama City, Florida, where he served as a commercial lender. In 1998, he relocated with AmSouth (now Regions Bank) to Mobile, Alabama, where he has worked for the past 10 years. Ford has served for the past five years as Senior Vice President, Commercial Market Manager for the south Alabama area.

Ford graduated from the University of Alabama where he received a Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Political Science and History. He received his Master of Business Administration from Spring Hill College. He actively participates in numerous civic organizations, including Mobile's Downtown Rotary Club, Municipal Park Youth Baseball, American Cancer Society Relay for Life, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Senior Bowl Committee. Current Board positions include the University of Alabama Mobile County Alumnus Chapter, Ashland Place United Methodist Church and WHIL Public Radio. Previous Board positions include the Mobile Tricentennial Committee, the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce, the Spring Hill Child Development Center, the American Red Cross and Mississippi's HOPE Foundation.

The Company plans to open a loan production office in Mobile immediately with full service branch locations to follow.
