CHILTON, Wis., Feb. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Verizon Wireless has activated a new cell site in Chilton that expands network coverage, enabling more customers in Calumet County to use their wireless phones concurrently to make calls; send and receive email and text, picture and video messages; access the Internet; view high-quality videos; and download music, games and ringtones, while enjoying clearer reception and fewer dropped calls.
This cell site expands Verizon Wireless' voice and data network in Calumet County from County Road PP south to County Road E, west to Long Road and east to County Road BB.

More than $277.4 million of this investment was spent in Wisconsin, including more than $55 million in 2008.
