ATLANTIC-ACM, a leading telecommunications research consultancy and benchmarking firm, today delivered its 2009 U.S. Wholesale Excellence Awards at the CompTel Plus Spring 2009 Conference and Expo at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center. The awards were based on research for the 2009 edition of ATLANTIC-ACM’s U.S. Wholesale Carrier Report Card - the industry’s principal benchmarking study, which was based on more than 800 individual carrier evaluations by their wholesale customers.
Winners were as follows:
- AT&T: Brand, Network and Voice Quality
- Sprint: Sales Reps, Provisioning and Customer Service
- Global Crossing: Billing and Provisioning
- XO: Data Price
- Qwest: Data Quality
- Level 3: Voice Price
“Overall satisfaction with wholesale carriers is up in operations as well as product quality,” said ATLANTIC-ACM president Fedor Smith, who presented the awards. “Our trending indicates that, over time, segment leaders have become increasingly proficient at developing and deploying wholesale products, which is reflected in ratings by their customers.” Price satisfaction fell slightly.
