Fitch Ratings has withdrawn the 'AA-' Insurer Financial Strength (IFS) rating of New York City Residential Mortgage Insurance Corp. (NYC ReMIC).
NYC ReMIC is a public benefit corporation designed to promote the development of affordable housing in New York City through the issuance of mortgage insurance. The company was originally created by the New York State Legislature in 1973 and has been a subsidiary of the New York City Housing Development Corporation (HDC) since 1993.
