Master Musical Impressionist’s Hot New Single “Everything I Own” Keeps Rising on the FMQB AC40 Chart, the R&R A/C Chart and the Mediabase A/C Chart
On a roll with his compelling new adult contemporary single “Everything I Own,”Greg London (www.gregorylondon.com) reached an exciting new milestone this week—the Top 30 on three major radio airplay charts!
The master musical impressionist, whose hit show “Greg London’s Icons” was recently extended as “ICONMAN” in Sammy’s Showroom at Harrah’s Reno by popular demand, finds himself in amazing company as the track—originally a hit for the soft rock group Bread in 1972—was #5 most added with a spin increase of +66 and is now at #26 on FMQB’s AC40 Chart. He’s just above Leona Lewis, Pink and Natasha Bedingfield and behind Sara Bareilles, James Taylor and Gavin Rossdale.
On the Radio & Records (R&R) AC Chart, “Everything I Own” made its Top 30 debut at #29 and is tied for the #5 Most Added Track of the week. London is in great company there as well, just behind Kelly Clarkson and Duffy and ahead of Journey and Melinda Doolittle.
On the Mediabase chart, which is featured in USA Today, London vaulted to #27, ahead of Journey and behind Duffy, Katy Perry and Adele.
“Everything I Own” features background vocals and guitar contributions by ICONS Musical Director David Zeman of The Rembrandts/Gin Blossoms, who also mixed the track. The track includes famed session singers Arnold McCuller and Kate Markowitz on backing vocals and Vern Monnett, who plays electric guitar for Black Sabbath, Gary Allen and Freddy Fender, on the slide guitar.
“Greg London's Icons” is now one of the longest running shows ever in Sammy's Showroom at Harrah's Reno. The showroom was originally built by Bill Harrah for Sammy Davis, Jr., who performed there numerous times.
After a brief hiatus, London resumed his “Icons” performances at Harrah's on March 1st. In the latest episode of “Icons,” “Icon Man” is saving the world…“one impression at a time.
London is also looking forward this year to a series of tour dates between his stints with “Icons.”
On Friday, March 27th, Harrah's Reno will be hosting a Greg London media night for the press.
