WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif., March 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Ticketmaster Entertainment, Inc. today announced that Sean Moriarty, its President and the Chief Executive Officer of its Ticketmaster division, has left the company effective March 24, 2009. Mr. Moriarty has also resigned from the company's board of directors as of that date.

During Mr. Moriarty's tenure, Ticketmaster enjoyed significant growth both in the United States and abroad, and expanded the scope of its operations through acquisitions of companies including TicketsNow and Emma Entertainment, China's leading promoter of Western acts and largest ticketing agency, and strategic investments in businesses such as iLike and Echo Music.

Barry Diller, Chairman of Ticketmaster Entertainment, added "Sean's contribution to Ticketmaster in various management roles over time, including his role as President and CEO, has helped make Ticketmaster the great organization that it is today. While we will miss Sean's leadership and vision, we are confident that the management team in place, led by Irving Azoff, will help Ticketmaster continue to grow and prosper."

"I'll always be grateful for my time spent at Ticketmaster with its truly outstanding people and I wish the company every success in the future," said Sean Moriarty.
