ROSEMONT, Ill., April 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Taylor Capital Group, Inc. , the holding company for Cole Taylor Bank, today announced that its executive management and board of directors have voluntarily reduced their 2009 compensation as part of the company's overall efforts to reduce expense and invest in the organization's growth strategy.

The voluntary compensation reductions taken by executive officers and directors for 2009 totaled approximately $300,000. When combined with other compensation reduction efforts across the company, these changes are expected to save the organization $2.2 million in 2009.
