Bay Area’s Leading Video Production and Online Media Company Moving to Larger Headquarters; Continues Staff Expansion
BARS+TONE, a San Francisco leader in video production and online media distribution, announced today its decision to move to the Hamm’s Building at 1550 Bryant Street, effective May 1st. The move, part of a recession-defying expansion plan that calls for a doubling of both its size and its creative staff, was brokered through Ken Colwell of Paragon Commercial Real Estate.
“To put it bluntly, we’re bullish on our business and are determined to find new opportunities and turn them into growth,” said Stefan Welter, president and executive producer at BARS+TONE. “By continuing to run a lean and productive business, regardless of the economic times, we’ve been able to expand our client roster, add valuable new team members and secure a great new home for our future growth.”
In addition to the new facilities, BARS+TONE announced the appointment of Heather Johnson, a former Media Manager at Gap, Inc., as its new senior producer. Johnson becomes the third new staff member to join the company in the past six months. As 2009 continues to unfold, the company intends to add several new staff positions to accommodate additional workload.
“Heather’s appointment coincides with our continued expansion into high-end agency and direct-client work, as we seek to build BARS+TONE into a major US video and media house,” added Welter.
