American Principle Bank Announces: Appointment of Interim Chief Executive Officer

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif., May 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Principle Bank (BULLETIN BOARD: APBA) (the "Bank") today announced that founding director Cole W. Minnick, Jr. has been appointed as the Bank's interim Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Minnick is an experienced banker who has held senior executive positions at multiple financial institutions throughout his career, including serving as Chief Executive Officer at Hacienda Bank in Santa Maria, California, and at California Oaks State Bank in Thousand Oaks. Eric J. Schwefler, Chairman of the Board, expressed his pleasure and the Board's gratitude that Mr. Minnick was willing to assume this role and lend the Bank his considerable banking expertise while the Bank conducts its search for a successor Chief Executive Officer to David R. Booker. Mr. Minnick has 35 years of banking experience, including 24 years of experience in California, with the past 22 years focused on Southern and Central California. Commenting on his appointment, Mr. Minnick stated: "I look forward to continuing the success and momentum of the Bank as it transitions to a new Chief Executive Officer."

The appointment of Mr. Minnick is pending regulatory approval by the State of California Department of Financial Institutions and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.

The Bank's target markets are commercial enterprises, professionals, real estate investors, family business entities, and residents in San Luis Obispo County and northern Santa Barbara County. The Bank serves these markets through a customizable delivery platform that includes online deposit via scanners located at customers' facilities, advanced technology, and sophisticated cash management services.
