Last Day for Official Business Will Be May 29th
John Wadsworth, founder and president of Tahitian Noni International (TNI - www.TahitianNoni.com), today announced that all Tahitian Noni International operations in Brazil will be suspended as of May 29th, 2009. Tahitian Noni International is the maker of TAHITIAN NONI® Juice, the number-one-selling nutritional supplement in the world, and has sales offices in over 30 countries around the globe.
“Unfortunately, changes in government regulations no longer allow us to legally sell and market TAHITIAN NONI Juice in Brazil,” stated Mr. Wadsworth. “This is not a decision that has been made lightly. We have spent months looking at multiple ways in which we might possibly continue to do business there. We have produced years of safety information for government entities, to no avail. We feel that we have done all that we could possibly do to keep Tahitian Noni International in Brazil, but the time has come to accept the fact that for now, this is the only responsible course of action to take. Although we are disappointed in the current situation, we will continue to seek approval to bring TAHITIAN NONI Juice legally into Brazil.”
