HEMET, Calif., May 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- VoiceNetworkx, Inc. (Pink Sheets: VNWX) (http://www.voicenetworkx.com/) today announced that it is exploring FibroLAN architecture as a solution to its planned Business Class Fiber Access.
VoiceNetworkx is currently completing design of its fiber optic network across Southern California. The deployment anticipates extending the fiber interconnect up to 1 mile of fiber from the main circuit along I-10 and into the heart of the business districts in a number of yet undisclosed cities. The fiber extension is being considered as high bandwidth users in the region, including law enforcement agencies, educational institutions and large enterprise customers have expressed interest in direct fiber access. VoiceNetworkx is currently exploring Customer Premise Equipment (CPE's) solutions with Rochelle Park, NJ, based FibroLAN. "This company offers a wide range of very flexible CPE's, a significant requirement for the garden variety of potential customers and applications we intend to deploy along our fiber circuit," stated H. Castillo, VoiceNetworkx's CTO.
VoiceNetworkx will continue the network design process and analysis of customer's requirements in order to make a determination on the CPE to be deployed. Testing of the platform in question will be conducted shortly and results announced by the company in the following weeks.
