WHY: | Coach John Wooden and Dean Judy Olian will be presenting Kenneth Chenault with the second annual John Wooden Global Leadership Award by the UCLA Anderson School of Management that evening at a ceremony to be held at the Beverly Hilton. The award is part of the John Wooden Leadership Program at UCLA Anderson School of Management. Each year, one exceptional leader will be honored with this prestigious award for his/her exemplary leadership and service to the community. Proceeds from the dinner will fund John Wooden Leadership Fellowships, awarded annually to two UCLA Anderson MBA students who have displayed character-based leadership. Chairman and CEO of Starbucks, Howard Schultz, received the inaugural award last year. | ||
