BALTIMORE, May 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. announced today that it has entered into an extension of its retransmission consent agreement with DIRECTV, Inc.
Under the terms of the agreement, DIRECTV will continue to carry the signals of stations which Sinclair owns and operates, programs or provides sales services. Although Sinclair does not disclose the dollar amount of consideration received from individual multi-channel video program distributors, such as DIRECTV, Sinclair will continue to be compensated by DIRECTV under the agreement.
