GEORGE, Utah, June 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SkyWest, Inc. reported a 1.2 percent decrease in revenue passenger miles (RPMs) for May, while available seat miles (ASMs) decreased 2.8 percent compared to the same period last year. The combined airlines generated 1.47 billion RPMs for the month, while ASMs decreased to 1.83 billion. Load factor was up 1.2 percentage points to 80.1 percent compared to 78.9 percent for the same period last year. Passenger boardings for May totaled 2,922,292 a 0.3 percent increase from May 2008.
