Capstone Industries Expands Mini Eco-i-Lite Program to all 1300 Staples Office Supply Stores

DEERFIELD BEACH, FL, June 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- South Florida based Capstone Industries, a wholly owned subsidiary of CHDT Corp. (CHDO.OB), announced its Mini Eco-i-Lite(TM) product will soon be available at the check out counters of all Staples Office Supply stores, nationwide.

The company has sold Eco-i-Lite programs into mass merchandisers and multiple warehouse clubs nationwide.In March,at the International Housewares show Capstone formally launched it's expanded program with the addition of a mini version targeted at mass retailers , grocery, drug & home improvement, and office channels.

In March 2009 the company introduced the Mini Eco-i-Lite to 484 checkout counters of Staples Office Supply Stores and due to positive sales the company expanded to 808 locations in June. In the 3rd Quarter of 2009 the product will be in all 1300 locations of Staples Office Supply Stores, the # 1 office Supply Super Store, as part of the "Double the Front End" company program.

The Mini Eco-i-Lite(TM) is a small, lithium powered multi-function power failure light. The device includes 3 LED bulbs, an LED night lite, and an induction charging ring that is safe and curtails energy consumption, meeting strict energy efficient guidelines set by the U.S. EPA. The unit is environmentally friendly and requires no battery or bulb change. The unit automatically illuminates when lifted from its charging ring or when a power failure occurs. The Eco-i-Lite(TM) products use inductive charging versus traditional conductive charging, eliminating the possibility of electric shock from typically exposed conductors.
