Status Reinforces Commitment to Continuous Improvement, Innovation and Scholarship
Grand Canyon University (NASDAQ: LOPE) is pleased to announce that its Ken Blanchard College of Business recently received accreditation from the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).
"This gives validation to the quality of our programming throughout the College of Business, and will undoubtedly help us to recruit high caliber faculty and students," said Ken Blanchard College of Business Dean Kim Donaldson.
The ACBSP accredits specific business schools and programs within colleges and universities that have already received institutional accreditation. A volunteer process, accreditation is designed to instill public confidence in collegiate professional business schools and programs. The accreditation process involves a thorough examination of college curricula, faculty and site visits.
GCU's Ken Blanchard Executive MBA program, MBA program and certain bachelor degree programs are already accredited through the ACBSP. GCU's institutional accreditation is through the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association.
GCU offers competitive tuition rates for both online and traditional campus students that in some cases is nearly half of the national average for private college tuition. Its regional accreditation is an attractive feature for students located out-of-state who desire a rich academic experience from a credible institution. GCU was recently recognized by an online learning systems provider for its robust online curriculum.
