AMARILLO, Texas, July 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Hastings Entertainment, Inc. - Discover Your Entertainment , a chain of 153 multimedia home entertainment stores, today announced its plans for a chain-wide Spin Your Style event to celebrate music and the fashions that are inspired by music. This month long event will take place from July 26, 2009 through August 29, 2009 at all Hastings locations.
Music lovers of all ages will be treated to several in-store performances by local and national artists and have the opportunity to purchase music items and musical instruments at significant discounts. Some of the scheduled in-store performances include Parachute, Johnny Cooper and Cage.
"We love the fact that we have everything for the music lover from posters and T-shirts to instruments, CDs and MP3s. We are hoping this month-long event will help our customers discover new artists and reinforce their love of music," said Kevin Ball VP of Marketing.
As a major Spin Your Style kickoff, Hollywood Undead will appear at the Hastings Store located at 4315 Wyoming NE in Albuquerque, New Mexico, July 30th at 6 p.m. The band will shoot its first live DVD in Albuquerque as part of their tour. "Hollywood Undead's appearance will be a huge event for Hastings and really highlight our strong commitment to new music and great entertainment," said Kristal Duff, Hastings Music Buyer.
