Fait will be providing valuable information to ADTSEA on the "Safe Trailering" Driver Education Program that U-Haul developed in cooperation with ADTSEA.
The central purpose of the "Safe Trailering" Driver Education Program is to provide basic, practical trailering information and guidelines for beginning drivers and first-time trailer/towing individuals. People who tow a trailer only occasionally will benefit from a review of the information contained in these guidelines.
These guidelines are free, and are adaptable to adult-education programs, college-level courses and for teacher training, as well as for high school driver-education programs. They may be used as provided or modified for state (provincial) departments of education, colleges and universities, local school systems and other organizations which share the leadership responsibility for traffic-safety education.
Attendees of the conference's trade show will be provided with a copy of the "Safe Trailering" teacher's manual, student brochure and DVD.
