WALTHAM, Mass., Aug. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Inverness Medical Innovations, Inc. , a global leader in enabling individuals to take charge of their health at home through the merger of rapid diagnostics and health management, today announced that it intends to offer $150 million of senior notes due 2016 in a public offering. Payment of the notes will be guaranteed by certain of Inverness' domestic subsidiaries. Inverness intends to use the net proceeds from the offering solely to fund its previously announced acquisition of Concateno plc, which the Company expects to close on or about August 11, 2009.
Jefferies & Company, Inc., Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Well Fargo Securities, LLC will act as joint book-running managers for the offering.
