OVERLAND PARK, Kan., Aug. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- YRC Logistics, a subsidiary of YRC Worldwide Inc. , announced that its operations in the United Kingdom earned full certification as an Authorised Economic Operator by HM Revenue and Customs. This enables clients of YRC Logistics with similar accreditation to enjoy the full range of AEO trade facilitation benefits.
HM Revenue and Customs offers three types of AEO certification: Customs Simplification; Security and Safety; and Customs Simplification/Security and Safety. YRC Logistics fulfilled the criteria for both the Customs Simplifications certification and the Security and Safety certification to obtain the Customs Simplification/Security and Safety certification, also known as full certification.

Assessing procedures and submitting documentation for full certification is an extensive process.
