MEMPHIS, Tenn., Aug. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Mid-America Apartment Communities, Inc. today announced that its board of directors approved a quarterly common dividend of $0.615 per share payable on October 30, 2009 to shareholders of record on October 15, 2009.
As established in prior quarters, the Company is declaring its quarterly common dividend in advance of its earnings' announcement, which it expects to make on November 5, 2009.
