Canadian National Railway Canadian Women's Open raises a record $1.6 million for the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation

CALGARY, AB, Sept. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CN announced today that the CN Canadian Women's Open raised a record $1.6 million for the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation through the CN Miracle Match program. The announcement was made at a special presentation at Priddis Greens Golf and Country Club, host of the 2009 CN Canadian Women's Open.

"CN is very proud of this year's record-setting results from the CN Miracle Match program for the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation," said E. Hunter Harrison, CN's president and chief executive officer. "The people of Calgary have been excellent hosts for the 2009 CN Canadian Women's Open, and the fact we were able to raise $1.6 million is a testament to their generosity."
