ATLANTA, Sept. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Delta Air Lines today announced it has earned a perfect 100 percent rating in the 2010 Corporate Equality Index, an annual survey administered by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC). "At the very core of Delta's values is a strong commitment to global diversity," said Mike Campbell, executive vice president - Human Resources and Labor Relations. "Achieving a 100 percent score on this year's HRC Corporate Equality Index reflects the inclusiveness of our workplace and acknowledges the deliberate steps we are taking to continue making Delta a great place to work for all of our employees worldwide."

The HRC's 2010 index rated 590 businesses, evaluating LGBT-related policies and practices including non-discrimination policies, transgender health benefits, domestic partner benefits, respectful marketing and LGBT community support. Delta's efforts in ensuring LGBT equality in each of the survey's main criterion earned the company the perfect 100 percent score and recognition as one of HRC's "Best Places to Work for LGBT Equality."
