In fact, when Ford's new 6.7-liter Power Stroke diesel engine debuts in the 2011 Super Duty, it's expected to be the quietest, smoothest diesel on the market - and that's by design. The latest Ford technology advances, including the future of SYNC , will be top of mind for Alan Mulally as he reprises his Consumer Electronics Show keynote role, this time as the show opener. In his remarks on Jan. 7, 2010 in Las Vegas, Mulally is expected to discuss the next steps for Ford in-vehicle innovation, including advanced voice activation, using cars as docking stations for mobile devices and new alliances with key tech companies. Taurus can withstand just about anything the open road throws at it, and Ford engineers have the tests to prove it. After determining what the most abusive driver would dish out, engineers took it one step further, with Taurus being subjected to more than nine extreme tests to deliver reliability to go with its head-turning design.
