Phillip R. Woodie Appointed as President of Lotus Entravision Reps

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Oct. 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Entravision Communications Corporation and Lotus Communications Corporation are pleased to announce that Phillip R. Woodie has been appointed as President of Lotus Entravision Reps (LER), a joint venture radio-sales rep firm representing approximately 125 Spanish language radio stations.

In this role, Woodie will be responsible for managing the firm's operations. Mary Hawley has been appointed Vice President of Western Regional Sales, and will focus her efforts on the Los Angeles market due to that market's significant importance to LER and the stations that it represents.

"Phillip's exceptional track record and sales and marketing expertise will be an enormous asset to Lotus Entravision Reps, and we're delighted to welcome him to the firm," said Jeffery Liberman, President of Entravision's Radio Division. "We are dedicated to offering advertisers the most effective way to reach Hispanic audiences through more than 100 Spanish language radio stations, and we believe that our team can develop and implement the best strategies to do so."

Previously, Woodie was the Director of Sales & Marketing of Multicultural Networks at Comcast Spotlight, where he was responsible for initiating and directing advertising sales and marketing activities related to multicultural networks. Prior to that role, Woodie designed and implemented a full-scale broadcast network as President of Network Sales & Marketing at Azteca American Network. Prior to that, he was Chief Sales & Marketing Officer and TCN Telecommunications Company. Woodie also held various roles at Univision, ABC, CapCities and Disney. He received his B.S., Communications & Sales Management from the University of Tennessee. He will be based in New York.

"Lotus Entravision Reps is the firm that advertisers rely on to reach the growing Hispanic population in the United States. I'm looking forward to taking on this new role and helping to maximize results for current and future advertisers," said Woodie.
