Marvell Semiconductor in Santa Clara to Host Visit by Senior Chinese Government Officials / Ministry of Science and Technology Delegation to Visit California Facility, Discuss Green Technology and Mobile Phone Technology

SANTA CLARA, Calif., Oct. 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Marvell® , a world leader in storage, communications, and consumer silicon solutions, has announced that on October 18, 2009, it will host a delegation from the People's Republic of China led by Dr. Wan Gang, the Minister of Science and Technology. This high-level government meeting reflects both China's and Marvell's mutual interest in developing new forms of semiconductor-based green technology. Marvell's Chairman and CEO Dr. Sehat Sutardja and Cofounder and Vice President Ms. Weili Dai will address the importance of developing and implementing new power-saving technology solutions that can have a significant impact on the global environmental and energy crises.
