QUEBEC CITY, Nov. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Cossette Inc. ("Cossette") indicated today that its Board of Directors will review the amended offer announced by Cosmos Capital Inc. ("Cosmos") on November 17, 2009 once it has been filed by Cosmos with the Canadian provincial securities regulatory authorities. At that time, Cossette's Board of Directors will determine any action that may be required in accordance with its fiduciary duties under applicable laws while continuing to comply with the obligations of Cossette pursuant to the merger agreement dated November 9, 2009 between Cossette, Mill Road Capital, L.P. and 9209-6841 Quebec Inc.
Shareholders will be promptly notified of any recommendation by the Board of Directors through a news release and amended circular in accordance with applicable securities laws. Until such time, Cossette will provide no further comments in this regard. Cossette recommends that its shareholders defer making any decision until its Board of Directors has had an opportunity to fully review Cosmos' amended offer.
