Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP announced today that five new partners have been elected to the partnership effective January 1, 2010: Craig A. Benson, Alice Belisle Eaton, Andrew C. Finch, David S. Huntington and Elizabeth R. McColm. Ms. Eaton and Ms. McColm have been elected to partnership in the bankruptcy department, Mr. Huntington has been elected to partnership in the corporate department, and Mr. Benson and Mr. Finch have been elected to partnership in the litigation department. Mr. Benson is resident in the firm's Washington, D.C. office; all other new partners are resident in Paul, Weiss's New York office.

Craig A. Benson will become a partner in the litigation department, where his practice focuses on general commercial litigation matters, including antitrust and intellectual property. Mr. Benson received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where he graduated magna cum laude and served as articles editor of the Georgetown Law Journal. He received his B.A. from Miami University, where he graduated summa cum laude. Mr. Benson clerked for the Honorable Mary A. McLaughlin, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Alice Belisle Eaton will become a partner in the bankruptcy department, where she advises clients in corporate restructurings and chapter 11 cases, focusing on transactions arising in the context of out-of-court workouts, post-petition financings, asset sales and emergence transactions, including exit financings and rights offerings. Ms. Eaton received her J.D. from New York University School of Law and her A.B. from Bowdoin College, where she graduated summa cum laude.
Andrew C. Finch will become a partner in the litigation department, where his practice focuses on antitrust matters, including civil and criminal government investigations, private litigation and appellate matters. He also counsels clients on antitrust issues in connection with mergers and acquisitions. From November 2003 until August 2005, Mr. Finch served as counsel to the assistant attorney general of the Antitrust Division at the U.S. Department of Justice. He received his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School, where he graduated with high honors and was an editor of The University of Chicago Law Review, his M.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles, and his B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley with high honors. Mr. Finch clerked for the Honorable Dennis G. Jacobs, U.S. Court of Appeals, Second Circuit.
David S. Huntington will become a partner in the corporate department, where his practice focuses on corporate finance and securities transactions. Prior to joining Paul, Weiss, Mr. Huntington served as counsel to successive chairmen of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and as senior counselor to the general counsel of the SEC. He received his J.D. from Harvard Law School, where he graduated cum laude, and his A.B. from Princeton University, where he graduated summa cum laude.
Elizabeth R. McColm will become a partner in the bankruptcy department, where her practice focuses on insolvency matters for debtors, official creditors committees, ad hoc bondholder groups, investors and acquirers. Ms. McColm received her Bachelor of Laws, with honors, from the University of Western Australia. From 1994 to 1996, she clerked for the Honorable Robert J. Anderson, Supreme Court of Western Australia.
