TigerLogic Corporation Releases yolink 3.1 With Google Docs and Diigo Integration

SAN JOSE, Calif., Dec. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- TigerLogic Corporation today announced the release of yolink version 3.1 with advanced feature integration with Google Docs(TM) and Diigo(TM). This latest release also introduces new side bar architecture designed by Kicker Studio as part of its design enhancements.

Yolink gives users the ability to quickly view detailed information that is hidden 'one-level deep' behind search results or the links of any web site, as well as e-books and text. As such, yolink augments, rather than competes, with traditional search engines. After a quick scan, yolink displays extracts containing your key search terms and provides a one-click method to take you directly to the information located on the particular web page. Once found, information can be easily exported to Google Docs or Diigo using streamlined integration to both services, minimizing the need for multiple clicks.

Yolink 3.1 is the most comprehensive release to date, providing users the best approach for browsing and accessing search results. With a single click, users can save information to Google Docs or Diigo.

"The technology integrations with Google Docs and Diigo strengthen our efforts to improve the 'search, find, create' workflow," said Brian Cheek, Director of Business Development at TigerLogic. "Yolink users can now easily find and send search results directly to Google Docs, or save search results to their Diigo account library."

The new side bar architecture allows users to easily open, collapse, or close the yolink side bar, without altering the browser tool bar or Web page. Version 3.1 has a visually intuitive 'find with yolink' button, juxtaposed with the search button of the top five search engines - Google, Bing, Yahoo, Ask.com, and AOL. The button appears after the traditional search engines populate the search results.

"Diigo is a powerful research tool and a knowledge sharing community, making it easy to annotate, highlight, organize and share information, and yolink is a fantastic tool for speeding up the search process," said Wade Ren, CEO of Diigo. "Together, yolink and Diigo are highly synergistic, making a perfect one-two punch that can dramatically improve one's research productivity. We look forward to working with the yolink team to provide even tighter integration going forward."

"Yolink's integration of Google Docs and Diigo, capitalizes on our resource power and expertise to uniquely meet the online 'search, find, and create' needs of Internet users around the world," concluded Cheek.
