'Reader Rabbit Kindergarten' is Being Released and is Shipping to North American Retailers Today!

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Dec. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Graffiti Entertainment Inc - a subsidiary of Signature Devices, Inc. (Other OTC: SDVI) - today announced that it has released 'Reader Rabbit Kindergarten' for the Nintendo DS(TM) in North America. The retailers will start receiving the shipments December 15 depending on the shipment method used.

The Reader Rabbit Series has been captivating children for over 20 years with the finest interactive learning products in both schools and homes having sold over 6 million copies since 1993 and winning 175 awards and accolades! Reader Rabbit Kindergarten has been designed to interest children and encourage learning of basic kindergarten skills such as mathematics, phonics, reading, and listening in multiple contexts.

This Reader Rabbit series is comprised of grade-based and subject-based titles aimed at children from infancy through second grade. Reader Rabbit is the main protagonist and goes on various adventures usually involving educational mini-games. As the name implies, Reader Rabbit's initial focus was on teaching young children basic reading ability, however the success of the series has led to math games and a series of grade-based (e.g. preschool, kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade) games that cover various subjects including basic reading and phonics as well as math, memory, and other skills.

including: -- Activities involving exploration -- Comprehension, listening, and thinking activities -- Practice games in an arcade style Story in learning:

While soaring through the sky in their fabulous Dreamship, Reader Rabbit and Sam the Lion notice an unusual island in the waters below. As they swoop down for a closer look, a strange object shoots up from the island and begins wrapping up the ship. Forced off the Dreamship, Reader Rabbit and Sam the Lion find themselves in a new land called Balloon Town.

A friendly turtle known as the Bubble Wrapper explains that the Dreamship has been wrapped up and locked away in the Pointy Palace. All objects in Balloon Town with points or sharp edges are stored there to protect the balloons. Reader Rabbit and Sam the Lion head towards the Pointy Palace to reclaim their Dreamship, only to find that their way is blocked by a large, sleeping bull, or a "Bulldozer."

To enter the Pointy Palace, Reader Rabbit and Sam the Lion must first wake up the creature and make it dance out of the way. Join Reader Rabbit and Sam the Lion as they bounce around Balloon Town in search of musical instruments that they can use to wake up the Bulldozer. As you explore the sights and sounds of Balloon Town, help Reader Rabbit and Sam the Lion solve puzzles to collect these musical instruments. Then give an instrument to each of the animals guarding the Bulldozer.

When all five guards play their instruments, the Bulldozer will wake up and start to dance--leaving the path to the Pointy Palace free and clear. But be prepared! The Bubble Wrapper has a surprise waiting for you in the Pointy Palace. After entering the palace, you will need to solve a few more puzzles before you can step into the Dreamship and head for home!

Favoritenwechsel
