The Gehr Group (www.gehr.com) announced the appointment of David Lifschitz as President, effective January 1, 2010. Mr. Lifschitz will remain the group's CFO.

David Lifschitz joined The Gehr Group in September of 1995 as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer. In January 2007, Mr. Lifschitz was named Executive Vice President and earlier this year he became the Group's Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining The Gehr Group, Mr. Lifschitz spent 10 years at the Enterprise Group of Arthur Andersen, advising businesses in the entertainment, broadcasting, manufacturing, publishing, high-tech, wholesale distribution and retail industries. David is a CPA and holds an MBA degree in Finance from the University of Southern California and a BA degree in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles.
