"Meticulous, customer orientated and program driven are a few characteristics of Heather. Over the years, she has shown us that when you give exceptional customer service, you are rewarded with return business," exclaimed Area District Vice President (ADVP) Steve Hansen. "While she was a general manager (GM), Heather definitely was known as Ms. U-Haul of Loves Park and now she will take her team to a whole new level."
Walsh began her U-Haul career in June 2003 as a customer service representative (CSR) for the Loves Park U-Haul Center. In October 2005, Walsh was promoted to assistant general manager and shortly thereafter, in September 2006, was promoted to GM, the position she held until being named marketing company president (MCP). Walsh has proven leadership skills which will drive her team to success. Today, MCP Walsh will oversee U-Haul operations for the Northwest Chicago Suburbs
While in charge of U-Haul operations for Northwest Chicago Suburbs, Walsh plans on continuing to enforce U-Haul policy and procedure to enable her team to better serve U-Haul customers. In assuming her role as president, Walsh is most excited about the opportunity to help others by bringing a new way of thinking to the table. She hopes to generate excitement and drive her team to the next level of service and excellence.
"The greatest strength in my marketing company is the diversity and knowledge my team brings to the table," Walsh stated. "I am looking forward to challenging them to 'think outside the box' and view situations with a new perspective."
