2009 Marks Record Year for InformationWeek Virtual Events; 2010 Virtual Event Schedule Released

SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- TechWeb's InformationWeek, the market-leading business technology media brand, released its 2010 virtual event schedule following a record-breaking season in 2009. InformationWeek, along with its network of authoritative brands including Network Computing and Dark Reading, produced a total of eighteen events in 2009. The InformationWeek 500 Virtual Event was recognized by min's Best of the Web Award as the 2009 Best Virtual Event.

Highlights from 2009 include: -- Over 2000 registrants per event - a number that surpassed all its attendance goals by 140% -- On average, attendees spent 2 hours and 13 minutes per event -- Over 900 content clicks and 205 downloads per booth per event -- 98% of users find the experience of attending easy or reasonable -- 96% found InformationWeek virtual events to be valuable
