SIOUX FALLS, S.D., Jan. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- LodgeNet Interactive Corporation , the leading provider of media and connectivity solutions to hospitality and healthcare businesses, today announced that it has filed a $290 million universal shelf registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The shelf registration will give LodgeNet the ability to access capital utilizing various types of securities such as common stock, undesignated preferred stock, senior debt, senior subordinated debt or subordinated debt, depository shares, warrants, units or any combination thereof. Once declared effective by the SEC, the registration statement would remain in place for three years. Should securities be issued pursuant to the registration statement, such securities would in each case be offered using a separate prospectus supplement issued at the time of the particular offering that would describe the specific types, amounts, price and terms of the offered securities and the expected use of the proceeds from the offering.
