CenterPoint Energy Raises Quarterly Dividend 2.6% / Dividend increases from 19 cents to 19.5 cents per share

HOUSTON, Jan. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CenterPoint Energy, Inc.'s board of directors today declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.195 per share of common stock payable on March 10, 2010, to shareholders of record as of the close of business on February 16, 2010. This represents more than a 2.6 percent increase over the $0.190 per common share quarterly dividends paid by the company in 2009.
