ALS Association and Main Line Gastroenterology Associates Choose Lantium for IT Managed Services
Lantium, an all-inclusive IT managed services company based inPhiladelphia, today announced that two leading local organizations have adopted its managed services as a strategy to use technology more efficiently and effectively. The Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the ALS Association began its managed services contract with Lantium in November 2009 and Main Line Gastroenterology Associates P.C. in December 2009. Both clients use LantiuMSP, Lantium's onsite managed service, which consists of 24x7x365 management, remote backup and disaster recovery, as well as rapid resolution of any end-user or network problems, for one predictable monthly subscription fee.
ALS Association, Greater Philadelphia Chapter:For ALS, Lantium manages five servers and 35 workstations, including online backup and remote support for social workers, nurses and other staff members. Lantium also provides IT advisory services and will be implementing a server virtualization and virtual data storage project for ALS later this year.
ALS, which previously used a service program from another vendor that no longer met their needs, selected Lantium and its LantiuMSP offering based on the company's experience, expertise and structured support model. "We chose Lantium because of their professionalism, knowledge, collaborative approach and their well-defined managed services model with its structured policies and procedures, which has made for a seamless transition," said Nora Isaac, Associate Director of Information Technology for ALS. "Lantium managed services help us manage our budget while minimizing costly downtime and fortifying our disaster preparedness, business continuity and regulatory compliance efforts."
Main Line Gastroenterology Associates P.C.:For Main Line Gastroenterology Associates (MLGA), Lantium remotely manages 13 servers and 135 workstations across nine locations, including online backup and comprehensive end-user support. Lantium also will be implementing a virtual data storage solution for the practice's medical records.
MLGA adopted LantiuMSP to attain a greater level of service than it had found in the traditional break-fix service model of its previous IT provider. "Lantium brings deep expertise, a solid understanding of network topology and an industry-leading managed services tool in the Kaseya software toolset it uses for remote management," said Ben Levin, Healthcare IT Business Analyst from HealthPower Associates for MLGA. "With Lantium, we now have the ability to quickly and efficiently see, diagnose and resolve issues across multiple locations and platforms across the enterprise with minimal business interruption."
"We are proud to team up with the ALS Association and Main Line Gastroenterology Associates to manage their IT as efficiently and effectively as possible," said Jeff Middleton, Lantium CEO. "Our primary focus is on earning the clients' trust while supporting them as they fulfill their mission. Every business depends on its technology, and our goal with LantiuMSP is to work as a true partner with our clients to keep that technology up and running better than ever before."
