HOUSTON, Feb. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- HELI-EXPO® -- Honeywell announced today that M International has joined Honeywell's worldwide network of authorized distributors for the T53 engine.

"As an authorized distributor, M International will be able to provide genuine Honeywell T53 parts to their customers," said Doug Kult, sales director, Commercial Helicopters, Honeywell Aerospace. "Newer versions of the T53 can increase their mean time between overhauls to 5,000 hours."
Honeywell's T53 engines have accumulated more than 50 million hours of service since its introduction as the powerplant for the Bell Helicopter UH-1 "Huey" helicopter.
