BIOFUEL Announces Hiring of Doug Anderson as Vice President of Operations

DENVER, March 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- BIOFUEL ENERGY CORP. , an ethanol production company, today announced that Douglas M. Anderson has joined the Company in the role of Vice President of Operations. In that role, he will have primary responsibility for leading the operations teams at the Company's Fairmont, Minnesota and Wood River, Nebraska plants. Mr. Anderson brings 25 years experience in the agricultural processing industry, including the past six years in positions of operational leadership with various ethanol producers, most recently as Chief Executive Officer of NuGen Energy of Marion, South Dakota. Prior to entering the ethanol industry, Mr. Anderson held a number of management positions with The Iams Company, a division of Proctor & Gamble.
