"We are looking forward to celebrating West Hollywood's 25th Anniversary with our incredible community," said West Hollywood Mayor Abbe Land. "The day will be filled with many activities, including wonderful performances, opportunities to learn about city resources, and of course, to just have fun. I encourage everyone to attend. This is a great opportunity to celebrate how far we've come as a City and to look ahead toward our next 25 years," continued Mayor Land.
The Cityhood Community Celebration will feature two stages of live entertainment. The first stage will be the official event stage featuring the official Cityhood Ceremony and day-long entertainment. The second stage will feature Russian Style Festival programming celebrating the City's large Russian-speaking community. The Kids' Fair and Public Safety Fair will feature demonstrations from the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department and the Los Angeles County Fire Department. The Cityhood Community Celebration will also include a Community Resources Area which will feature information from the City's social services agencies.
