"The opportunity to share our knowledge and world-class expertise in groundwater remediation and mining hydrology to NGWA attendees is an honor and further demonstrates ARCADIS' position as a global leader in this market," said Craig Divine, Associate Vice President and Principal Hydrogeologist for ARCADIS U.S. Operations. "The summit also provides us a tremendous opportunity to learn from and share ideas with other experts eager to create solutions in this dynamic and evolving industry. We look forward to harnessing and leveraging new developments to better serve clients as we integrate the latest research and industry best practices and apply them to specific projects."

ARCADIS professionals will be featured in eight presentations, including three focusing on mine sites. Topics will cover a range of groundwater issues, including advanced groundwater modeling, methods for quantifying groundwater surface water interactions and remediation considerations, characterizing background and mine-sourced metals loads to streams, 3-D visualization techniques to support remediation strategies, and specialized approaches to plume characterization. In addition, Craig Divine and Dave Lipson, Principal Hydrogeologist, will chair a full-day special session focusing on the importance groundwater-surface water interactions in groundwater remediation and environmental hydrology.

The NGWA Summit brings together regulators, practitioners, natural resource managers, policymakers, municipal planners, banking industry representatives, remediation site owners, attorneys, climatologists and others who supply knowledge and technology needed to address key water issues. The event integrates cutting-edge research with practical application innovations to create new industry solutions, and will include various workshops, field trips, topical and poster sessions and networking opportunities.
