MISSION VIEJO, Calif., April 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Apollo College and Western Career College announced a social media promotion encouraging students to vote for the color of new scrubs, which will be introduced when the Colleges are renamed Carrington College(TM) and Carrington College(TM) California in June. The campaign will run April 26-May 13, with the winning color announced on the Carrington College Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/CarringtonCollege. "We have sought feedback from all constituents in our college communities in planning and implementing the name change," said George Montgomery, president of U.S. Education, the parent organization for both colleges. "When we announced the name change in March, the most frequently asked questions from our students were 'What will happen with our scrubs? What will be the color of our new scrubs?' We realized this was an important concern and we wanted to coordinate a more extensive feedback process."
The campaign includes campus posters, Twitter and Facebook updates and on-site mannequins, all directing students to visit http://www.carringtonscrubs.com/ to vote for one of five color options.
