MOUNT KISKO, N.Y., June 28 /PRNewswire/ -- The Mount Kisko Borders store is teaming with the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) to host a Mobile Service Office (MSO) July 2 to support the needs of local veterans.

The DAV's MSO program is designed to educate and assist disabled veterans and their families about specific veteran's benefits. Those who want to file compensation and disability claims, inquire about continuing education opportunities for veterans or have general questions about veterans' benefits are encouraged to visit the MSO, which will be parked in front of the store from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Visit the store at 162 East Main St., Mount Kisko, NY 10549.
25% In-Store Discount
The Mount Kisko Borders store -- as well as all Borders, Waldenbooks, Borders Express and Airport stores nationwide -- is extending to active and retired military and their dependents a 25% discount off the list price of almost everything in store (with some exclusions) beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, June 29 through Sunday, July 4.
Borders Benefit Days
In addition, the store will host a "Benefit Day" July 17 and 18 to support the work of the DAV. Throughout the year, Borders stores partner with nonprofits across the country to host Benefit Days -- fundraising events where supporters of the nonprofits shop on a designated day or days. Borders will donate up to 30% of the days' net sales, made by the nonprofit supporters, to the participating organization.
