Mr. Beckman takes on the role of President and National Sales Manager of the company's broker/dealer, PCC. He will be responsible for the sales and marketing of Cornerstone's public and private real estate offerings as the company continues to strengthen its sales efforts. "Cornerstone is a growing company in the non-traded REIT industry with a tremendous healthcare platform as well as a unique industrial strategy. In my analysis of the company, I believe Cornerstone has the potential and the expertise to become a leader in the industry and I'm excited at the opportunity to help get us there," said Mr. Beckman. In addition to his in-depth knowledge and experience in the real estate industry, Mr. Beckman has spent time at firms such as Merrill Lynch, Prudential Securities and A.G. Edwards. As an industry sales leader with more than 25 years experience, he was also elected and served consecutive terms on the Real Estate Investment Securities Association (REISA) Board of Directors where he still maintains an active role.
Vince Finnegan, Cornerstone's former President and National Sales Manager has been elevated to CEO of PCC taking over many of the responsibilities of the company's founder Terry Roussel who remains as CEO of CVI. Mr. Finnegan has an extensive background in sales management in the financial services and banking business with firms such as Phoenix Life Insurance; Endeavor Group/Transamerica Capital; Prudential Investments Advisory Group; US Bank and Roger Engemann and Associates. He graduated from Chicago-Kent College of Law with a J.D and holds an MBA from Iona College, Graduate School of Business in Financial Management. When asked about the company's structural changes, Mr. Finnegan responded, "Cornerstone has an impressive pipeline of current acquisition opportunities in front of it. This structural change was necessary to help us better capitalize on those opportunities and support Cornerstone's overall growth objectives."
In a further development, Don B. Saulic, who has been with Cornerstone for the past three years, was promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer of CVI. Don also serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of PCC. Mr. Saulic has over twenty years of executive level operations experience and has held senior level positions at Corinthian Colleges, BAX Global, Budget Rent-A-Car, Allied Worldwide, Kemper Financial Services and Ernst & Young. He also has an MBA from DePaul University and is a CPA. "Don's promotion is yet another step we are taking to prepare our organization for on-going sales growth. We were looking for someone with extraordinary leadership and experience in driving continually higher levels of performance in human capital management, operational excellence, superior customer service and profitable sales growth," said Mr. Roussel.
