She succeeds to Jean-Guy Lanouette, who will continue to act as executive Chairman of the Board for the Group.
Mrs. Martin has been with GDG for more than five years and has contributed, as Vice-President Operations and Chief Financial Officer, to the Company's being listed on the TSX Venture Exchange. "In our efforts to better position the Company and to ensure the realization of our growth plan and the continuation of our strategic plan, we are proud to count on Mrs. Martin's professionalism, honesty and expertise, said Jean-Guy Lanouette, Chairman of the Board for the Group. Originally from Shawinigan, Mrs. Martin has cumulated many years of experience as a senior executive. She holds a MBA from l'Universite du Quebec a Montreal and is a member of l'Ordre des Comptables en management accredites (CMA) since 2000. Before joining GDG Environment Group, Mrs. Martin performed, during the last 25 years, several management functions in operation management, strategic planning and budgeting, in the manufacturing sector in various Canadian provinces.
