New position reflects emergn's continued worldwide growth in 2010

In this new position, Welsh will serve as the senior executive of sales and marketing in charge of leading the company's business development and corporate marketing communications.
Welsh brings over 20 years of experience building high-performance sales and marketing divisions for technology-based companies whose clients span global organizations. Welsh's appointment to this newly-created position demonstrates emergn's continued commitment to fortifying the company's executive strength and global expertise.
Welsh is a proven, results-driven executive who has shown her abilities to forge strategic relationships, establish mutually beneficial partnerships and deliver integrated sales and marketing initiatives. In her former position as executive vice president for a sales consultancy, Welsh led the sales team at a virtualization software company to achieve record growth of 205% over the same period the year prior. Before that role, she developed a new business pipeline in excess of $5 million through designing and implementing a robust sales infrastructure and performance-driven metrics as vice president of sales for Nestor, Inc. Welsh also previously served as general manager and vice president of sales at GROUP Software and held various management positions at high technology companies such as Computer Associates (CA), Object Design and Brainstorm Technologies.
