The award was presented by Stefano Domenicali, Scuderia Ferrari Team Principal, to MTS chair, Laura B. Hamilton, in Maranello, Italy, "for the uniqueness of the company's attitude toward innovation and its competence, relaunching the KERS challenge for the 2011 F1 season."
